Jessica assists entrepreneurs in structuring their business ventures for smart growth and practical risk management. She has teamed with clients to structure a variety of commercial contracts, including employment agreements, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, and master sales or service agreements. Her contract negotiations have ranged from sophisticated customer and vendor relationships to more specialized work with a variety of entities, including tribes and local and state government agencies.
Jessica also practices in the areas of estate and wealth preservation planning. She has practical experience working with multiple generations in not only efficiently passing along business assets, but also creating incentives and structures to help ensure the institutional knowledge and values are passed on. She has hands-on experience in helping families navigate the intricacies of administering trusts and estates after a loved one has passed, including challenging family dynamics.
Jessica is passionate about helping generations of business owners. Her background in business formations and maintenance, trust and estate planning, and trust administration, as well as her experience as in-house counsel for a large tech company, have all influenced her wholistic approach to advising her clients.
