Jill is a member of Moss & Barnett’s real estate team, representing clients in a broad range of general real estate transactions and representing lenders who originate and sell loans secured by multifamily projects to secondary market investors, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Within this practice, Jill examines title, survey, and other due diligence items, reviews legal opinions, prepares loan documents, and works with all transaction parties to ensure a smooth closing.
Moss & Barnett has become one of the leading law firms nationwide in representing Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae lenders. The firm has closed thousands of these loans in every product line, including:
- Portfolio and capital markets executions
- Credit facilities and other structured transactions
- Tax-exempt bond and other targeted affordable housing programs

- Small-balance loans
Prior to joining Moss & Barnett, Jill clerked at a real estate management and development company and, later, a Twin Cities law firm handling research and due diligence for real estate and other legal matters. Jill’s background includes further real estate work for an investment and management company.
