Thomas J. Shroyer spoke at the Summer Conference of the Major Firms Group of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), which was held at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Beach in California. The conference dealt with strategic and business issues of interest to large public accounting firms. Tom addressed issues arising from changing expectations for the owners of such firms and the need to address related issues in firm ownership agreements. The AICPA is a self-regulatory body that sets professional standards for public accountants in the United States.
