Family Law Series: Family Law Financial Deskbook – Antenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements

Minnesota CLE Webcast (live via the Internet at www.minncle.org)
11.03.2014

Antenuptial and postnuptial agreements play an important role in family law matters and estate planning, as these agreements allow the parties to control in advance how their assets will be distributed in the event of divorce or death. In this presentation, Family Law Financial Deskbook authors Jim Vedder will provide an overview of the financial issues surrounding the use of antenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Topics include: statutory basis and requirements, pertinent case law, reasons for use of the agreements, drafting, amending, executing and enforcing or challenging these agreements. All attendees will receive a month of free access to the LinkedLaw edition of Minnesota CLE’s Family Law Financial Deskbook.
