On September 15, 2016, Brittney Miller was a guest speaker at the Investiture Ceremony of Justice Ann K. McKeig held at the O'Shaughnessy Auditorium on the campus of St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota. Justice McKeig is the first Native American to serve on Minnesota's highest court, and she is also the first female Native American in the country to serve on any state's highest court.
