Maggie Garborg is a member of the firm’s real estate department, focusing her practice on real estate financing transactions. Maggie primarily advises lenders regarding financing and refinancing of multifamily housing projects and sale of loans to secondary market investors such as the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation.
Prior to joining Moss & Barnett, Maggie worked for the Colorado State Judiciary as a law clerk in Denver District Court and as an intern for the Colorado Supreme Court. Maggie then practiced natural resource and energy law, with an emphasis on mineral title examination and preparation of title opinions for major oil and natural gas producers.
Maggie earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado Law School, where she was an associate member of the Colorado Journal of International Environmental Law and Policy and a member of the 2011 Environmental Moot Court Competition Team. Before attending law school, Maggie studied history and English literature at The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
