Katherine D. Pasker, Attorney

Biography

Katherine Pasker is passionate about helping our clients develop their infrastructure in conjunction with government agencies and private parties. As a real estate attorney who focuses on zoning and related regulatory approvals, as well as due diligence analysis for one of the nation’s largest wireless communications companies, Katherine is responsible for drafting agreements with federal, state, local, and tribal government entities, as well as counseling clients as to the attendant business and legal risks associated with those agreements. In this way, she helps our clients to develop a complete picture of their real estate transactions and regulatory approval processes. She enjoys resolving challenges presented by each new project.

Prior to practicing law, Katherine gained substantial insight into municipal development processes while working for the Salt Lake City Office of Economic Development. In that role Katherine supported City efforts to attract new business and develop major projects, including Salt Lake City’s Revolving Loan Fund and the World Trade Center Utah.

Katherine is a cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, where she was selected Lead Managing Editor for the Minnesota Journal of International Law and worked as a Student Director for the Civil Practice Clinic. Since graduating from law school, Katherine has worked closely with judges throughout the state of Minnesota, including the Honorable Mary R. Vasaly, Fourth Judicial District; the Honorable Robert D. Walker, Fifth Judicial District; and the Honorable Bethany A. Fountain Lindberg, Tenth Judicial District. Her experience in the Minnesota Judicial Branch provided a solid foundation in evaluating contentious real estate transactions and controversial planning and zoning projects.

Katherine is a strong believer in giving back to the community. Throughout her career, she has volunteered with a variety of community service organizations, including Volunteer Lawyers NetworkMinnesota Justice FoundationMid-Minnesota Legal AidPerspectivesHabitat for Humanity, and HOMELine.
